Thread: How To Mount My KC's ?

Started 1 month, 2 weeks ago by Explosive
So I just got two 6" KC daylighters. I like the bumper look, but don't want to drill. So I was leaning towards the roof bar, but only have two lights. Would it look goofy ? Any suggestions ??? anyone know of products that allow mounting on bumper w/o drilling it ?

Yes, it would look goofy with two ears, I mean two lights. Just drill the holes in the bumper! Though, the Daylighters are probably too deep to fit on the stock bumper.

Mount them like mine. You'll have to drill the cowl though. If you're afraid to modify your truck then take the lights back. You won't be able to mount them.

Its just a bumper, drilling 2 holes isn't going to ruin your truck. Bumper mounting FTW

I'll probably end up doing the bumper. Not afraid to modify the truck, just the body as it's so clean for Michigan. One bare spor of metal from drilling ect and the salt will attack.

Spray a little clear coat then.

Anyone know how much they've changed ? Mine are new in the box, but the box is dated 1990 lol.

Ive thought about making little square tabs, and mounting them to that part up by the wipers thats right be hind the hood. I've got two in my grille guard, and if I were to get a couple more, thats where they would go.
