Thread: How Many...

How many guns do you carry concealed on you at once. I have heard of people who carry three guns at once. I'm not going to say it is too much, too little, or just right. I want to know your opinion, and yes I do know the Concealed Weapons laws.

Ive been known to carry 3 at one time. But mostly carry one and a extra mag. Better safe than sorry

I would carry two all of the time if I could. It just depends on where I'm going or what the days activities are, and how bad my back is bothering me.

I personally carry a Glock 22 strongside OWB and a Glock 27 weakside lower leg holster.

I carry one but I do know a guy who routinely carries four

One has always been enough for me..........if I need more than that, its time for a hand grenade.

One, plus a couple of loaded speed loaders. (It's a revolver, obviously.) I'm not a police officer or security person. I carry a very reliable gun, very reliable ammunition, and figure that if that isn't enough to make me feel safe somewhere, it's time to leave.

raftman replied 1 month, 2 weeks ago
Have never carried more than one.

DasFriek replied 1 month, 2 weeks ago
Most times two,a .45 on the waist and a .380 or 9mm in back pocket.

Wow... I joined this place for my love of Firearms.. there was a QUESTION.. I ANSWERED IT... Then I get criticized for my answer.. not just by you but by many. I stated. I have ONE RELIABLE Firearm.. My Para*0 14-45... My Main Carry. I have my S&W Sigma 9mm.. As a Hip Gun... And a Kahr for an ankle gun. Once again. Why is that considered excessive?? It's basically a BUG to a BUG. I never said I LIVE in DC.. I live NEAR there.....

Folks, this is an open forum. People can ask questions and others freely answer. Let's respect each other. After all, we can all be a little nutty in our own ways. Be respectful and tolerant. Gun Owners cannot afford to be divided in this day and age over minor differences of opinion. Always remember, we have amendment #1 and protect it with #2. That is the most important thing here for us all. __________________ Chesster Proud NDN...

Well, to be perfectly honest with you, I've carried in DC before... Not my first choice, but I was carrying legally in Virginia and my friend decided that he wanted to go to the polo fields to exercise the dogs. It did help that he's US Park Police, but it still made me nervous. __________________ Coworkers. A convenient source of food in a post apocalyptic world.

And bad people are everywhere. for example...awhile back...in our small town of no crime where nothing happens.....an elderly male body was found,, in several pieces,,in a 55 gallon drum along the highway...... I will stick with the two 44s for now

My post was sarcasm. But 4? Even 3? Eh I understand the whole, "I want to be ready" but even 3 is a bit much.

Quote: my first response would be to move to a safer place There is no such thing as a safe place. Trouble can be anywhere. And bad people are everywhere. Quote: there is no way i would allow my wife and daughters to live with that kind of danger even if i had to sell all my guns to do so. Well, go sell all of your guns then, because there is the potential for danger everyday, no matter where they are, or where you live, or where they go to...

In my mind if you need more that one and a spare mag (say 20 rounds) your second better be a rifle, preferable with a big mag in it. Also, excepting failure, which I don't worry about at all anymore, wouldn't it be smarter to carry more reloads for a reliable gun than more guns? I mean, I could carry like 3 spare mags in the space it would take to conceal another whole pistol. And to answer the question, I don't carry concealed,...
