Honey and heating to kill the peroxide in SMT I made an SMT using honey, aloe vera gel and conditioner. I heated it once as you are supposed to and I kept the remainder to use over the next couple of treatment weeks. I was wondering if the peroxide was killed the first time I heated it, or do I need to keep reheating the treatment every ...

Re: Honey and heating to kill the peroxide in SMT I would not be surprised if your hair looks shinier, and thus lighter in color. This shine will fade over time. For me, honey did not ever lighten my or DH's hair no matter what I did to it. When I lefft samples of our hair soaking in a non heated SMT mixture for three days, the ...
