Thread: Holiday Upgrade!

Holiday Upgrade! Hi all, i really want to upgrade my speakers, but I dont know what to get, I guess im kinda on a budget, but i could always upgrade one by one until its complete. Im thinking the best route would be to upgrade the fronts, and then center and so on... Right now I have an: Onkyo 706 receiver PS3 Blu-ray...

If you have time, take a trip down to a local audio store and spend a few hours listening before doing a blind buy. Just my 2 cents and good luck. Cheers.

thanks for the input everyone, i was wondering if i go with the polk monitors, would it be better to get the monitor 60 or 70 series considering there not much more in price on newegg __________________ Toshiba 65" 65hm167 Onkyo 706 PS3

If you can afford it, never hurts to go bigger. As you will probably kick yourself for getting the smaller ones later on.

alright so when i get these speakers and hook them up, what should i do first??? Should i run the audessy calibration, or do they need to break in first, should i set them to small or large, All the details please. Thanks guys im so excited for these speakers to come they have some great reviews

nooooo callas get a bigger one. unless your room is small. the hd10 does not produce enough bass for me. im thinking about a2-300 u should maybe look into it. i might sell mine, just got it a month ago. so if your looking for an hd-10 in excellent shape and smoke free home pm me.
