Started 3 months, 1 week ago by MadFlava
I decided to start this thread because I just bought a new Vapor XXXX stick yesterday and found it difficult to find any reviews on blade patterns for the Bauer line. Without much knowledge of Bauer sticks and their pattern, I ended up getting a XXXX with a P92 pattern (Naslund). What are the margins on sticks and why are they so darn expensive? It can't cost more than $15 bucks in materials to make these things. Sorry not address the topic, but wondering what justifies the price.

I've got one of the older models of the Vapor. Don't know which one, but it's the one with the blue swirly pattern down near the blade. 77 flex, Gagne curve. I always used wood sticks in the past and this was my first composite. The feel and weight is a big difference. Gives a good wrist shot but the curve sucks for backhands.

I use an Easton Synergy sl, 100 flex, sakic curve. And a Ballistik 45 caliber 80 flex, sakic clone, and I have an Eagle composite stick, 100 flex, also in the sakic curve clone

I noticed on Monday that Mike Green is using the new Easton S19. I'm curious on the improvements they are making to it. I think it is available to buy next month.
