Excellent report! We got back from Hilton Moorea in July and still haven't wrote a report. Couldn't really share more than Thunderoad anyhow. We stayed in #87 for 10 nights at the Hilton Moorea. Wow, what a great resort. Yes, #87 can get windy as it's all the way out on the point. Loved the breeze though, just can't leave things on the lower deck or they'll blow away (like pillows).

Thank you Thunderroad for this awesome in-depth review of both properties. I am strongly considering heading to Bora Bora for a vacation next summer, and have been looking for as much info as I can gather about the Hiltons there; this helps a ton!

A hearty "maururu" for your excellent report, Thunderroad , on the Hilton properties in "Porinetia Farani" - or at least non-Tahiti ones. We hope to hit one (or both?) in the middle-near future. We actually stayed at the Moorea location some years ago - before there was a Sheraton, much less a Hilton! Monster mosquitoes, as we stayed in January after a Christmas cruise, and sheets of rain driven...
