( Interesting, but as the study looks at lumpectomy patients, most lumpectomy patients DO have rads so not quite sure how relevant. Thanks as ever for posting! , )

( How do you know if you have dense breasts or not? I should probably know by now, and maybe have even been told but forgot in the whirl of diagnosis, but is this something that's noted on a typical path report, or a mammography report? Is there some sort of density scale? I don't see anything about overall density on my reports; they focus on the tumor, etc. , )

( That helps very much -- thank you, Otter. You're such a wonderful resource here! I think I'll just ask about this after my next mammogram in late January. That'll be my first mammo since my diagnosis \(gulp\), and I'll meet with my breast surgeon right afterwards for my one-year anniversary appointment. I'm interested to hear her take on all this. Thanks again! , )
