Got to see the first two sets of the Roddick match late last night and man he still looks impressive. Completely different animal than the guy who used to get pwned by Federer on a regular basis and almost faded away into obscurity.
Now his energy level seems incredibly high, his ground strokes are crisper and insanely hard and he's finally got that amazing ...
I am hoping Roddick and Nadal win this one.
Right now, I am very interested in the women's draw. Ivanovic sure has had a quick fall into oblivion since her ascent to world's number one.
1st her dramatic upset 3 set wins in the qualifiers and early rounds at Wimbledon, then knocking off the #4 seed and former #1 Jankovic in the main event a couple of months back.
Now little pint sized 17 year old Melanie Oudin's done it again this week at home at the US Open, knocking off #4 Dementieva earlier this week and then today, she knocked off the ever favored Maria Sharapova, .... ...
