At around 20K, just oil, filter, pollen filter, visual check, code read and washer fluid, not much else.

Hi, new to this forum so please go gently! Not sure this is the right scetion to post my query but here goes! Following a dispute, my local Audi Dealer has agreed to give my car (A3, 2.0l TDI (common rail) its first service for free. I know i am being paranoid, but how can i tell they have done this properly and not a vindictive 'once-over'/ corner cutting before re-setting the computer??...

No, quite right it isn't an MOT failure YET but **** the car and get hurt due to a lack of air bag deployment and the insurance company may take a dim view of you driving with a safety system faulty.

hello thanks for the help i asked a mate to help and he immediateley said its the engine cover which was slightly damaged when i asked how he sussed it he said when travelling at those speeds the only thing that can play up if it is not mechanical has to be related to aero dynamics i.e plastics or covers loose he removed the covers and lo and behold at 80mph no sound at 90 nothing then 100 ...
