I can comment on the wisdom of seeking advice from folk who, not only have never repaired a hernia....but have never answered the phone in the office of someone who has. I wasn't seeking advice actually--just wanting to hear about the healing experiences of others to see if I was in the ballpark with my own process. Can anyone comment on the time frame for complete healing? I'm 62 years old. That's the message I took from your initial post. My response is that a friend of mine, who is your age and had a hernia repair about the time that you did, still has some odd pulling sensations. His surgeon (VA Hospital) told him not...
