Thread: Help please..... anyone else had same symptoms?

Started 1 month ago by scoobylyn

Yesterday I felt sick ALL day and very lightheaded but today it started off as nausea but has passed now and generally feel 'FULL' you know 'down there' almost like my bladder is being squashed and I am going to leak. Yesterday I felt pains all over, in groin, back ache, in lady bits but they eased ...

Hi Pyro I was diagnosed last week after high levels showed in my wee. I'm really disappointed by the care and advise I have received from the NHS. The lack of advice led me to doing my own research on the internet (bad idea) which scared me silly. I was given a five minute chat on diet and shown how to do my blood checks each day, i was told to ring the diabetic nurse if my levels got ...

Hiya I have GD and have been very lucky to have had lots of help and advice from the hospital. What did you want to know? PS avoid fruit as it has high levels of sugar. I was eating loads of it till they told me its as bad as eating sweets! x

kelio replied 3 months, 1 week ago
dont eat too much fruit as this will send your blood sugars through the roof keep on at them at the hos you might need to be put on insulin for the rest of your preg im type 1 diabetic and good control is need but can be tricky with all the hormones

Hi Ladies Im 15weeks pregnant and finding first thing in a morning my legs are sore mainly my left thigh it feels as though its bruised but there is nothing there and my ankles joints etc are really stiff when i first get out of bed. I have only really had this experience while i have been pregnant and just want to know if anybody else has suffered with joint or leg problems or anybody ...

Hey hun, I reckon any joint problems u have should be checked, i had SPD which was a pelvis problem but it affected everything from my pelvis downwards. I recommend going to the GP to seek support whilst pregnant because u dont know if the pain will get worse as the pregnancy progresses with all the added weight For whats its worth, i hope it doesnt get worse good luck hunni...

I stopped taking my fluoxitine as soon as I got a BFP. I also cut out everything with caffiene in too so had pretty horrid headaches but knew the baby wouldn't have to get any withdrawal symptoms if I just stopped immediately before the placenta was fully active. Am finding that now I know I'm pregnant I'm feeling positive about about my future for the first time, being a mummy to be is better ...

Hi I had cholestasis when i was pregnant with number two. It came on when I was 37 weeks pregnant and was unbearable itching on the palms of my hands and soles of my feet. I had vaguely heard of it so went to see my midwife. I was induced 2 days later. All fine in the end and the condition goes once you have the baby. They always induce you before 38 weeks with this condition. However, ...

I'm so worried
Published (2009-11-26 18:07:00)
I'm really sorry to hear the stress you are under. Are you sure they did not mean you are 6 weeks when they said 4, as some count it as from the time you concieved (which would be 4 weeks) but called 6 as it is dated from your LMP. Also seeing a sac is a good thing as is the lack of blood, and the heartbeat is not always detected at 6 weeks especially as the dates can be off. As a general rule from my experience, they only usually offer...

Advice Please - a little worried
Published (2009-12-07 11:57:00)
Hi Louisa. Sorry I don't have any advice to give. I've never heard no sex in 1st trimester. We did and no problem. Try not to worry and if it gets worse, maybe call your dr as you don't have midwife yet? They might help put your mind at rest. xxx
