Thread: Help, please, Want a cheap holiday flat/Cottage etc for MAY 2010, East Midlands area.

The hotel at Kenwick Park is really nice. I staid there for 'time out' during my divorce, on my own. The food was superb. The gym was well equipped, a nice pool with steam room and jacuzzi. When out walking I looked round the log cabins but didn't ask much about them.

You do realise that Derbyshire is only a half hour further away than some of the above places? You could stop off on the way for a break, and it would give you a lot more options. Would you stay in Lincolnshire? The places you have listed are not countryside areas!

Hope someone can help ... We would like to have a short holiday May 24th -28 ( Mon to Fri) 2010 self catering. We do not want to have to pay for great luxury or for loads of electrical appliances that we do not need and that increase the cost. Just basics, warmth and clean, please. Any Suggestions are Welcome. We need 3 beds for 3 adults (myself, my husband and Daughter) about 1 hours drive from Lincoln . We would like to be in countryside...

On the otherside of Lincoln is the East coast. Its only an hour to Grimsby, Cleethorpes, and Louth. I know of Willow Lakes, Ashby !!! Fenby its log cabins. Kenwick Park, Louth have log cabins. There is also accomodation at Brackenborough Hall, Louth. No idea on cost or spec.
