Thread: Help Me Trick Out My Glock

Started 3 months, 1 week ago by wth75554
I just bought a Glock 21 SF and was wondering if anyone would recommend some great after market parts. Like match barrels, night sights, a good place to get trigger work and grip reduction. Are KKM barrels good? Cost is not a real concern. I will only be using the this pistol for carry purposes. I am new to this site so any help would be great.

+1....I'd also get 6-10 extra mags, and you are set. Congrats.. Got that covered. I bought 10 and three came with the gun.

I would also recommend leaving your carry weapon stock. A buddy of mine carries a G21 and it's the only gun that he has left stock. In the same vein he has a G17 that he's modified for competition. When I get my G30 for carry purposes, that little bugger is going to stay the way it came out of the box... BTW: BLS kicks ass. SDMF!

All I do to my Glocks (7) is a set of sights. If you carry it leave it stock.

"So, ladies and gentlemen of the jury, when the defendant came across my client, who was innocently approaching him to ask directions, this maniac pulled his heavily modified GLOCK 21 from a hidden holster and opened fire! Now this was no ordinariy GLOCK, like your average police officer would carry--no, no. This was in a caliber even bigger than they consider 'adequate'. That's not all--he was ...

Stock out of the box is fine. Shoot it first to see if you really need or want to make any changes. The only thing I would change are the sights. Good luck with it. I'm sure you will love it.

I'm doing the grip plug on my G17 RTF as soon as I pick her up today. I have everything I've wanted to modify it with sitting at home waiting for her to arrive. The grip plug is an aesthetic mod in my opinion. As for protecting against dust....I don't really care, I just don't like the hole in the backstrap...it's like when you put IKEA furniture together and you have those holes that you shove decorative end-caps into.

Everyone says to keep it stock, but what about a back channel insert/grip plug? All I have on mine are Trijicon night sights and a Jentra back channel insert...Is the grip plug bad?
