What does the COA sticker on the back/side of the computer say? XP Pro or XPMCE. That will tell you what version you should have. I purchased a dell xps 400 that came with Windows XP Professional installed about 4 years ago refurbished. Now, I want to do a complete harddrive wipe and have a clean installation of XP Pro, hopefully making things faster and cleaning things up in the process.
However, the OS Reinstallation DVD i have is not Windows XP Professional but Windows Media Center 2005 RU2. Would this DVD be able ...
