Thread: Heating problem?!?!?!?!?!?

i got a 98 dodge ram 1500 5.9. the truck will not get above 130degrees, i put a new t-stat in it thinkin the fail safe was just stuck open so i sucked it up and went to napa and got a superstat still does not get warm, put new hoses on it thinkin on a wim it would help and no,im not losing coolant anywhere. how can i get this truck to get warmer so i got some darn heat,its startin to get ...

Still seems to be a T-stat problem to me. I went through two Kragen t-stats, and two Napa t-stats before I went to the dealership and paid $2 more than Napa and my problems went away. I would try another t-stat. i went through 4 Cummins brands tstats last winter on my truck before i found one that was good. _________________ ~Matt~ 01 CTD, 5" Superlift, 35" ProComp X-Terrains's, 1 ton steering, DSS steering brace, AFE PG7 filter, Edge Drag Comp, Isspro guages, HTB2 62/12 turbo, 150hp injectors, Bored .20 over, Fire-ringed, studded, exhaust manifold, FASS 150, ...
