yes we have. 2 division titles, finishing 3rd and 2nd. the caps are successful in that aspect, and lower teams fans want to see us go down. additionally, ovechkin is looked at by some fans of other teams as c0cky and arrogant. we are homers for ovechkin, but be honest...if crosby did the "hot stick" act in D.C., and the caps lost the game, people here would be flipping out.

Yes. I'd indoor sporting eventing hate Ovie and Green if they weren't playing for the Caps. I don't know that I'd hate the whole, but some of the individual parts would seem insufferable.

Nah, most people love Ovie and are indifferent to the Caps in my experience, but it's cute that now that we have a good team the Canes actually are interested in being our rivals.
