Thread: Has anybody mounted a camara in the front of their Challenger?

Started 4 weeks ago by Fly-With-Me
I would like to mount a camara in the front of my car (thought it would be helpful to avoid damage to the spoiler when parking) and connect it to the Mygig with Nav. I already have a lockpick installed with a rear camara. Is there a prefered mounting location? Thanks

I was going to ask this same question this morning except I am interested in the rear camera. Can someone post how they hooked up the rear camera and a list of what is needed. Thanks.

I mounted mine the same place as Tee, but further back into the grill. I found one that actually fits between the holes in the grill. I used small black wire ties to secure it in place. It was mounted from the backside of the grill. Here is a link to the one I bought. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/170-R...d=p3911.c0. m14 It comes on at 8 mph and goes off when you exceed that. How does this connect to your Mygig? does the lockpick software do it for you? What button are you pushing on your radio to see the camera?
