yes i have flown them from uk to bangkok via tehran .and back .they are rated on skytrax as a 2 star airline .dont expect seatback tvs or any luxurys at all .i can say that they got us there and back safely enough and it was on time and cheap so we were fine with that .i have flown many poor airlines and mahan probably fit that category but i would fly them again.when you arrive in ...

I've booked some really cheap flights for around Christmas from Birmingham to Bangkok (via Tehran )
Has anybody used these before? I cant seem to find any info on them which is worrying.
Any help appreciated x

no you wont get any entertainment ,it is a very basic airline ,you will get a seat on an older style plane ,you will be fed and watered (no alchohol) and i cant remember anything about the food (nothing special probably). i'm happy to fly cheap/poor quality airlines if it saves me a few hundred pounds .they always get me their and back ,i just dont any have expectations that the flight ...
