There is another pole barn: And it is for toys: And a game room: With bar: Potty: Another wood burner: And a 50" TV receiving satellite. (There is another one like it in the living room): There is enough room to do some serious partying! ...

The pole barn is nicer than my house. This is one of two permanent blinds to hunt from: Promise me you don't shoot deer while they stand over a pile of corn.

No baiting for a couple of years now because of conic wasting disease.

Damn! I wouldn't want to leave the building to go hunting!

Oops! Forgot my gun. I guess I'll have to shoot pool and drink beer instead.

There is some serious beer drinking that goes on up there! 11 adults over the course of 4 1/2 days and we went through at least 40 cases of beer. The 1/2 day was Sunday morning when no one was drinking and clean-up chores were done, so that makes it 4 days of beer drinking. A respectable effort.

The spot and stalk is used in wide open spaces like South Dakota where there no obstructions to vision and you can see for miles. You look around with binoculars until you spot [some] deer and then stalk them until you get close ...

These pictures and buildings remind me of the man-cave I was just at in Dallas a few weeks ago, w/ some new friends I made, who were my brother's old friends from childhood. Gotta love it.

Blinds keep you from freezing to death. I don't use them but I would if I had the chance. I've spent more than my share of time laying or sitting on the cold ground in the wind, rain, and snow waiting for something to come by.

Those are some fine looking digs and some even finer toys. I am a deer hunter myself. Good times with family are what it is all about.

If I whack another 'yote I'll get it mounted. I whacked a couple up north but didn't want to spend the money, but I'll get a picture either way if I whack one. If I score with the lady, I'm not too sure she'll want to have her picture posted . . . I do have a picture of what a .270 Winchester does to a prairie dog:

Why? Did a coyote chow down on some worthless, yappy creature of hers that she loosely referred to as a "dog"? Those yappy things are only good for punting or coyote food. Coyotes don't mess with REAL dogs.
