I need to install a set of handlebar risers on the wife's grizz 700. I wish to keep the stock bars as I have heated hand grips already installed. We need to be able to pivot (move) the bars back some as she is being forced to sit at the very front of the seat which becomes very uncomfortable after a while. It would appear from what I have been reading on the 'net' is that I can go up to a 5" ...
Yeah, Tristan runs them, he swears by them. I'm pretty sure that he said he kept all his stock cables too. Hopefully he'll reply here, or send him a PM, he'd love to help you out I'm sure.
LOL ahh yes I appreciate the offer AluCsRED. I am from Brandon MB as you are, but I am in Arizona at the moment. Guess I should update my location thingy.
And I was going to tell you about this ad I saw on kijiji (Winnipeg)
"For sale a set of Rox piviting risers for sleds with 7/8 inch bars. These have a rise of 2 1/4 inch. $35. Also a set of J hooks to fit 7/8 inch bars.$20. Located 5 mins from the north perimeter in West St Paul.
Call Kendal anytime @ 791 7223 or email."
I've had powermadd on my old skidoo renegade, and now have bought...
Not knowing anything about these units, I like the powermad, as it looks stronger with a one piece design? I'm looking at it like if I was to roll my machine over, it looks like the one to survive? I dunno, Sunday am, and my 2 cents worth.
I'm glad I came across your post, as I have a 87 Warrior that is uncomfortable to ride, maybe these are a better idea, than Raptopr 660 Bars.
Hmmm...
Maxter ole buddy, ole pal .... Here's my 2 peso's worth ... I've had both risers on my Grizz. Personally, I liked the PowerMadd one much better. Reason is, the handlebars felt much more solid to me.
I gave my Rox risers away I liked the PowerMadd one so much better. But if you like "Shiny" stuff, well, the PowerMadd one is black ... so the Rox has the "Shine" factor go'in for it.

Maxter, you are not going to be able to run anything more then 2" with stock bars with out changing the cables or re routing them. Now if you go with aftermarket bars then you can get the 5" risers which will put you 2" above stock. I am afraid that the 3.5 or 3" will cause you issues. If you decide to go with the 3.5" and they do not work, I will trade you for my 2". I have used both of...
