My hair would be a gd awful nest if i messed with it that much when it was wet. I guess it may work for some, but i cant afford the frizz or volume this would provoke. I also dont see why we couldnt do the same thing with our towel of choice. Lastly, she looked like she had muppet hands

wild_sasparilla replied 1 month, 3 weeks ago
I dunno, it kinda looks like it has little nubbies on it the way ordinary towels do - even in microfiber, that kind of texture could cause frizz. I wish the video was more close-up or clearer because then I'd be able to tell! I also kinda wish I could recommend some conditioners to the ladies in the video...

Ya I was thinking of the frizz factor too but I like the volume. SO said she had Cookie Monster hands

How funny I just noticed this add too! I'm not too sure about that. I don't get frizz but it seems to me I would end up with weird curls ... since I'm a wavy/curly mix. I'll have to check out the video!

Her hair looks really matted after using this. Mine would be a frizzy mess.

Yay, good to see you Jess! 2ndly, I think I get better volume with less frizz with my diffuser. And I second what the other girls said, and I think a regular microfiber, or maybe the curl ease would do better.

intersting idea. I was tempted to buy it but it does look a bit frizzy. If it was cheaper, I would try it.

Why would anyone want their hair to look like that?? It's a frizzy mess!

rbb, I'm so happy you like the gloves. I agree with you - they actually help me to get rid of any frizz. Woot woot!!

I went to get them on CurlMart because I have a 15% off code and it doesn't apply to the gloves...grrrr. I sooooo want these.

Jury is still out for me. I think they are fine and I'm not unhappy that I bought them, but I'm not sure that they do anything the curl towels don't do. If you are undecided about what to get, Curlease, Curls Like Us or these--I think it would be a hard decision for me, if I could only have one. ETA--I'd buy extra large flour sacks instead of Curlease. They work as well and are MUCH less expensive.

when i ordered mine, about 10 days ago, i did get the 15% off. which coupon code are you using? oh, maybe i used the thanksgiving one?? cannot remember. honestly, even without the 15% off, i still feel it is worth buying! i may eventually buy a 2nd pair for myself, so i don't need to worry if i lose them when traveling. i am going to let my daughter try mine and may buy her a pair, and also my daughter-in-law. will see as time goes on...

I sorta improvised this yesterday to see what it did. I folded my curlease into a smaller square. Then I folded it over my hand and put a rubber band around my wrist to hold it in place. It worked well but I spaced it and forgot to put my hot sock over my dryer so I had too much air blowing so I got a bit of frizz...but I think if I did with my hot sock it would work decently. I think the one that looked more like a waffle weave might be the...

Of course, it's been awhile since I shipped something to Canada...maybe the shipping has gone up??? They're working pretty good. I can't use them to dry my hair all the way, my hair will get some frizz. But, I do use them to dry to about 75 percent or so...then air dry the rest of the way. I'm still working on finding a right combination of products, though. __________________ So far just experimenting with anything and...
