the particular version of the Hero you have in mind must have the correct bands for use on the T-Mobile network in the U.S. That means 850 & 1900 GSM/EDGE, more if you need to use it outside the u.s.

Can someone help me? If I am TMobile client and have HTC Hero Internatinal unlocked phone, can I use it on the TMobile network? Greatly appreciate your input and thoughts.. Thank you

Even T-Mobile has it now on all of their current handsets. You might lose roaming coverage. YMMV. It depends on where you use the phone, as some areas might rely mostly on 1900 for T-Mo. Personally, I would not be comfortable without it.
