Apparently going to be released July in Europe and "later this summer" in Asia. I thought summer ended in July and August was the start of fall? Anyway, I don't think we're getting it in July. Hero will be available for preorder in UK for £401, delivery on 3rd July. Can't wait to get one.

guys...the 4th September...is just the event date of HTC Hero right? actual sales date will be later and annouce during the event... so maybe the M1 guy telling me end of Sept could be true.. Patience.

smartphones that can last a day from a single charge is already considered above average. mine usually last 2.5-3 days on a single charge cuz i don't really use Bluetooth/GPS/WiFi 24/7. oh and it's wise to not put many widgets that needs constant updating like Peep (Twitter), stocks etc. cuz when you connect to WiFi/3G it'll do a lot of 'catching up', which use up quite a bit of juice. i won't say the Hero's...
