Thread: HST: Tea Party 2 or completely overblown?

Apparently there were rallies in BC against the change to a Harmonized sales tax. Now when it comes to economics I have a better than normal understanding...but still pretty poor base on exactly how everything works. Can someone help me out and tell me the evils of such an idea as HST? From the research I found it is suppose ...

The best way is for you to grab all your monthly bills look at them closely and see if there is one of GST(5%) or PST(8% Ontario). Come July 2010 instead of only having a 5% or 8% it will be 13%. My Hydro and probably most Hydro Bills will be affected, I've heard that fuel prices will be affected so Grocery Stores will have anther...

The best way is for you to grab all your monthly bills look at them closely and see if there is one of GST(5%) or PST(8% Ontario). Come July 2010 instead of only having a 5% or 8% it will be 13%. My Hydro and probably most Hydro Bills will be affected, I've heard that fuel prices will be affected so Grocery Stores will have anther reason to raise there prices becasue it costs them more now in transport and I beleive even things like...

From the research I found it is suppose to be more efficient but the main contention is deciding what goods it will be placed on.
