Just run Software update... you'll get it done that way. There's not any updates that aren't good to go so accept them all. You may well have to run it more than one time to get them all too. Just keep running it until you're all up to date. Jerry Message was edited by: Jerry Hofmann 8 Core Mac ...

Install EVERYTHING it asks for and keep running it until you get the message that all apps are up to date. Also FCP and the rest of the pro apps have to be at the top of the Applications folder on your startup disk, or Software update can't see them. Jerry Message was edited by: Jerry Hofmann 8 ...

Open your applications folder, and make sure that FCP, Motion, DVD SP, Color, etc.. are all in the folder and NOT inside another folder. i.e, you can't put them in folders anywhere except in the applications folder and not in a folder inside the applications folder. mmmmm... Look in your receipts folder and trash any updates you see there for Studio... this folder is found in the MacHD/Library/receipts folder. You should have one for 6.02 in there at least, then run software update again. Jerry 8 Core Mac Pro, 17" MPB 9TB storage...

Download and install the Pro Applications 2008-005 update . This updater includes the FCP 6.0.5 update . Once that's installed, you should be able to install the FCP 6.0.6 update. MacBook Pro C2D, 2.33GHz, 2GB RAM   Mac OS X (10.5.6)
