Awww, that's not rude. If your In-laws understand enough to ask where to buy you gift cards from, then they understand. Congrats on your MP3 player...dunno what I'd do without my iPod!

I'm excited. I lost mine several months ago and have been tearing apart the house looking for it.

You are not rude by doing that.... btw - you do realize you will now find you MP3/ ipod since you have a new one (at least that is the way it always for me )

ugggg!!! i love when that happens - g/c gifts for where you wanna go... i hate when that happens - you buy a replacement item..and then find the 'missing item' ds just bought me my 1st mp3, he really wanted me to have one.....he's borrowing his dad's ipod, cuz ds' ipod has gone missing.... (hopefully!) since my new one's coming in...does that mean he'll find his???

No. I think HE actually has to buy a new one for himself. Can he pretend like the one he got you is for him, until his turns up? That might fool Murphy.
