Thread: Gunsmith in Alaska for Walther P22

Started 3 months, 1 week ago by ForneyRider
Nephew has a P22 with the weight on front with 2 screws. He said they keep coming loose. He lives in Anchorage. Anyone know a smith? or should he send it back to Walther?

Has he tried Loctite on the screws? Before sending it back to the factory or going to a smith I'd give that a try. (Use the blue Loctite, it allows screws to be removed without using heat, the red doesn't).

Yep, tell him to put a drop of blue loctite on the each screw and it'll be fine.
