I'll make the leap of faith when he's a stand-up, good guy and when there are no dealbreakers on the table. I am more willing to take a chance now than I was when I was younger.

The "wrong" guy was the guy with no earning poten... I mean STRONG SENSE OF DIRECTION IN LIFE. She's trying to make a decision. A decision to BBD the guy she is with for the new texting guy.

Would have been nice if he gave us a bit more information. Had no idea if he was the new guy, he old guy, the guy reminiscing, or the guy with new great sex. Either way, if he has not changed what caused the loss, he has no prayer of gaining her back. Right?

OP, the differences you need to determine are those between VALUES and CONVENIENCES If someone's core values are very different from your own it's very unlikely anything will work out. Core values are those that define our character. Fidelity, religion, values for life, violence, sex, passion and goals. For most people these are "written in stone" and will never change. Behavioural changes based on these value...

it's normal. It happened for me. for more than 20 years. Every once in a while, an ex with whom I was very much in love with and had broke my heart when I was 25, used to show up in a dream. I definitely still had some affection for her. I think if you really love someone, you always do. Plus, I had unresolved issues with how it all ended. Unanswered questions. Flash forward to a year ago. She found me on facebook after all these years....

this year christmas is tight. only my kids will receive gifts. my husband was out of work for 7 months, but is back out there now ... yeah!!!! he handed me an envelope a few days ago and said "your early christmas present" ... it was our health insurance. He got a big hug and kiss and thank you. I can't match that gift.
