Thread: Good Questions to ask to get to know a girl

Started 1 month, 1 week ago by MC53
It's come to my attention that probably one of the best ways to get to know a girl weather you interested in her or not is by playing 20 questions (usually end up asking more but whatever) Anyone one have suggestions as to what could be good questions to ask? I Like: Do you like spontaneity or stability more, or a healthy balance in between? Do you prefer giving or receiving?...

I'm not a bible thumper, so telling me about what went on via the bible doesn't mean a whole lot to me. Working women cheat in numbers, too. That being said, your argument about SAHMs is weak. People cheat because they want to cheat, their moral compass points differently than those that don't cheat. You can make excuse after excuse for them, but it boils down to them having no morals or ...

We've derailed the thread enough. I do agree with CaliMan that for someone that doesn't have the money to spend, $100 is a lot. Heck, my husband makes really good money and I think $100 is a lot. What I did want to point out to CAliMan is that if the 4 year old in the OP's situation is already spoiled with material things, the child may have some kind of adjustment...but I think ...

I am in this long distance text relationship that is driving me crazy. The texting and not calling each other has gone on for months now (well, about 2). I think at this point we are hiding behind the texts and almost afraid to call each other. The last text he sent me was last Friday asking if I wanted to meet him in a "random/neutral" town (we live many states away from each other- at least...

I think maybe you and him are both getting wrapped up in that form of communication and texting has become a habit. I hope when you meet that things will go alright. Sometimes a long distance relationship seems great, but then when you actually meet, it's akward because you're used to talking on the phone or texting. It's as if you build a different type of connection. This is especially true ...
Many couples or individuals have decided not to have children. Alot of people say children are alot of work and can hurt their career. They are free to make their own choices. What do you think of couples or individuals who do not want children? What would have happened if our grandparents thought the same thing?
I have asked many of my friends why they want kids...

I'll make the leap of faith when he's a stand-up, good guy and when there are no dealbreakers on the table. I am more willing to take a chance now than I was when I was younger.

Would have been nice if he gave us a bit more information. Had no idea if he was the new guy, he old guy, the guy reminiscing, or the guy with new great sex. Either way, if he has not changed what caused the loss, he has no prayer of gaining her back. Right?
What hurdles have you encountered in your relationship with your SO, and what drove your choices to see it through or not. Did it resolve in a way that you expected? What about hurdles in previous relationships that did NOT work out? I am trying to redefine my concept of what "acceptable faults" are in a partner vs. what defines a "poor choice" since having had things...

OP, the differences you need to determine are those between VALUES and CONVENIENCES If someone's core values are very different from your own it's very unlikely anything will work out. Core values are those that define our character. Fidelity, religion, values for life, violence, sex, passion and goals. For most people these are "written in stone" and will never change. Behavioural changes based on these value...

it's normal. It happened for me. for more than 20 years. Every once in a while, an ex with whom I was very much in love with and had broke my heart when I was 25, used to show up in a dream. I definitely still had some affection for her. I think if you really love someone, you always do. Plus, I had unresolved issues with how it all ended. Unanswered questions. Flash forward to a year ago. She found me on facebook after all these years....
