Whatever happened to the all the Golden Age WW arch-villians? I would like to see some updated battles between Hippolyta (sp?) and the Baroness (not sure of her full name?). Any favorites?
I'd like to see the Baroness again as well.
I do like the other picks here as well. How about the Mr. Freeze type of guy? I can't think of his name right now.
Well, we know that in current(?) continuty, Baroness Paula von Gunther was possessed by Dark Angel thoughout World War II and was released by Hippolyta in 1950. She apparently then reformed and became the operator of the purple healing ray on Themyscira.
I would like to see the fight between Wonder Woman and Villainy Inc. reinterpreted fully with Hippolyta....
I really enjoyed a Golden Age reprint featuring Atomia as a kid. I do believe that's the same villianess used by Trina Robbins in the "Legend of WW" series, but her interpretation did not have the same zing.
As I recall, one of my favorite panels of all time is the last in the story I'm tyring to recollect. It's of Wonder Woman's boot with a tiny, distressed word balloon...
Crimson Centipede! Crimson Centipede! Crimson Centipede! Crimson Centipede! Crimson Centipede! Crimson Centipede! Crimson Centipede! Crimson Centipede!
I know he's Silver Age, but for my money, you just can't beat a green guy in red pajamas with 100 arms/feet!
Seriously, Paula Von Gunther. She had no powers but she always seemed to get the better of Wonder Woman. Until...

> Captain Cold and Mr. Freeze?
Yeah...he debuted in 1948 and the others weren't until the 1950's.
> Seems they stole Wonder Woman's villian for Flash and > Batman and now her's in a distant memory. Perhaps, but he only made one Earth-2 appearance...in 1948. Then the Earth-1 version didn't debut until after Captain Cold and Mister Freeze: http://www.dcuguide.com/chronology.php?name=ministerblizzard Minister Blizzard of Earth-2 # Wonder Woman Vol. 1 #29 (May-June 1948): "Ice World's Conquest"...
I'd also like to see Badra revived, either as Bhadra, an avatar of the Hindu gods, or let that be the real name of Julia the Daxamite, who turned evil after Diana returned to Earth.

Minister Blizzard and the Blue Snowman both appeared in an issue of the Superfriends comic, along with other cold themed villains. And it was indeed Byrna Brilyant. I'd like to see more of that Tigra Tropica woman, and Zara. They should've used her in a Swamp Thing story as the chosen representative of the flame elementals.
