Days Of The New? Staind maybe? They don't sound like Soundgarden but I don't think any of the post-grunge bands could rehash Soundgarden's sound.

That's really tough. I can think of many generic grunge bands, but none unique like Soundgarden

I third Nickleback. Closest thing as Soundgarden had the most influences of metal of the four and Nickleback is signed to a label that has many metal bands. That might be stretching things a bit, though.

^ Nothing they've released sounds like Audioslave. Some songs, strangely reminiscent of Soundgarden, though.

It has less to do with the guitar and more to do with Scott Stapp trying too hard to sound like Eddie Vedder.

I think Shinedown sounds more like Audioslave than Soundgarden, but maybe thats just because my mind doesnt want to see Shinedown and Soundgarden compared haha

Puddle of Mudd? Naw, I'd say Bush sounds more like a Nirvana rip-off. Also, none of the 'grunge ripoff' bands have been skilled or ambitious enough to do anything resembling Soundgarden, IMO.
