Thread: God Has The Final Plan

Started 2 months ago by Mayberrytown1
We may think about the future and plan our lives as carefully as possible, but God has the final plan. Proverbs 16:9 "A man's heart plans his way, but the Lord directs his steps." God is the One who turns our lives in a sharply different direction. Chuck Colson was a bright young lawyer who planned to climb the ladder of influence and power. As a special counsel to ...

Oh, I'm not writing my plans in pencil, I'm writing my plans in permanent marker. For those who claim to be righteous, just remember that there is always a hidden 'self' in front of it.

JESUS CAN CHANGE YOUR LIFE FOREVER, IF YOU WILL ACCEPT HIM! So can Buddha, Muhammad, Jehovah, Zeus, your local fortune teller, or your local bartender, if you accept what they have to say. Fact is, I do accept Jesus. Not as the only begotten son of God. That is pure fantasy. But he did exist, and said a lot, and did a lot, worth saying and doing. Can he, or Buddha, or ...

As born-again believers and followers of Christ we already know that the final victory has already been won by Christ on the Cross. God's plan of salvation is intact, and He commissions all believers to spread the Good News of His Son, Jesus Christ, to the world, no matter what! Acts 1:8

As born-again believers and followers of Christ..... So in other words you had to put down the bottle first before you could believe. Another ex-addict believer. And for the record I do not hate Jesus. If in fact he did exist he was probably a pretty cool guy. I am not buying into the 'dying for your sins' bit though.

So, let me understand. 1) This triple deity, including this Jesus come up with a plan. 2) This triple deity then make the creation 3) There is a lot of pain and suffering for those living in this creation 4) This triple deity leaves a muddled collection of incoherent stories to let the creation know about its plan. But, about 4,499,994,000 billion years into the creation, it only begins ...

It is funny that the unknown companion of Paul declares Paul an apostle---when there is no evidence that this Luke...

BRIAN: What will they do to me? BEN: Oh, you'll probably get away with crucifixion. BRIAN: Crucifixion?! BEN: Yeah, first offence. BRIAN: Get away with crucifixion?! It's-- BEN: Best thing the Romans ever did for us. Somehow it isn't as funny when Anne does this routine.

Why cite Genesis 3:1-6? Stuff like that makes me wonder if their deity was a light on brains, too. The Tanakh clearly states a number of times that the father shall not be punished for the sins of the son, and the son shall not be punished for the sins of the father. ONLY the sinner shall bear the burden of his...
