Thread: Global cooling?

Scientest shunned for speaking against global warming. Al Gorlioni calls for "civil disobedience" against coal plants. What happens when people don't believe your lies? Why simple, silence dissent and incite violence. Gorlioni and the environmental mafia are on their last legs.

The world has never seen such freezing heat. ^^^One of the better headline titles I've seen in a while^^^ I love the backpedaling the GISS tries to do when called out. "No, actually, it is this thing over here that is the cause....." Money quote: QUOTE But whether, on the basis of such evidence, it is wise for the world's governments to embark on some of the most costly economic...

Goracle's Soothsayer busted faking data QUOTE A surreal scientific blunder last week raised a huge question mark about the temperature records that underpin the worldwide alarm over global warming. On Monday, Nasa's Goddard Institute for Space Studies (GISS), which is run by Al Gore's chief scientific ally, Dr James Hansen, and is one of four bodies responsible for monitoring global...

QUOTE (StrongGroin @ Nov 24 2008, 06:13 AM) I did. So, if the Mayans didn't do anything to cause climate change . . . or they didn't cause any of natural disasters that might have sunk their civilization, would you say that things happened naturally? In other words, does the Earth's climate/weather change, not because of human involvement, but rather, because that's the way it has...

QUOTE (CoolPeopleAreWildFans @ Nov 25 2008, 05:39 PM) earths climate does change naturally. but quite a bit of evidence right now indicates that our pumping tons and tons of carbon into the atmosphere is potentially accelerating those natural warming trends. it hasn't warmed since the mid 90's give it up already

QUOTE (tballz @ Nov 25 2008, 05:50 PM) it hasn't warmed since the mid 90's give it up already so we dont have records going back far enough for you to believe that the industrial revolution caused temperatures to start increasing abnormally but 10 years of very slight average tempature increases is enough to prove its not true?

QUOTE (mplspug @ Sep 15 2009, 10:46 AM) I am on board now! I base all political and economic decisions on Simon Lebon...er, however you spell that guys name. QUOTE "If we do not stop the (greenhouse gas) emissions today, global warming will be still be with us in 40 to 50 years," warned Walter Fust, director of the Forum, at a press conference in Geneva. I doubt it

QUOTE (tballz @ Aug 26 2009, 05:23 PM) People have been convinced since the dawn of man that they can influence the weather. Only the cool people thought that it would rain if they danced, and according to these new prudes, dancing would create a destructive green house gas poised to extinguish us all aaarhhhhhhhhhhhh.

QUOTE (TaLoN @ Aug 27 2009, 07:56 PM) Even if a Gamma Ray Burst caused the ozone layer to vanish, that's a process that takes a couple decades... I think in the case of the ozone vanishing on us, it wouldn't be such an overnight thing, that a sustainable population could be established. Fair enough. How about the sun exploding

QUOTE (Adamski @ Aug 20 2009, 09:01 AM) Takes about 90 seconds for him to admit the fraud. Impressive. No worries, I'm sure this little known fringe group (Greenpeace is it?) is the only group out there living off phony scare tactics regarding the environment. That guy just confirmed everything I ever thought about environmental activists...

QUOTE (tballz @ Jul 17 2009, 02:26 AM) Politicians arent normally very funny people, but i got a good laugh out of that. That's so NOT true in my country! Silly quips by politicians are dime a dozen where I'm at... And when I had my six week internship in my country's Senate, I've seen/heard so many funny things that you guys would find so unbelievable.
