Americorp is not a security force. It's more of an aid and community service organization. Like a domestic peace corp. Obama specifically said a National Civilian Security Force that is as well-funded and well-trained as the military. Which means some sort of law enforcement agency that is not your standard cops, FBI, state troopers, etc or he means the militarization of existing law enforcement. When I said Obama was careful with words while making speeches, I didn't get a response. I don't know about this being the equivalent of "brown shirts," but it did sound pretty creepy.
