War Chariot can negate Honest/Kalut becasue during the battle phase or more in depth the damage step, cards that are spell speed 2 or higher that alter Atk. or def. can be activated (like Honest Kalut, Shrink, Mirror Wall. etc.). And Also Spell Speed 3 (Counter Traps) cards can be activated during the damage step (Solemn, War chariot, etc.) so that's why Honest/Kalut get's canceled. 2. War Chariot...
