I never thought about adding limitations to my GC's....these are some great ideas ladies:)

Some states, such as Maine, do not allow expiration dates on GC unless they are donated.

Great ideas. Thank Owner Jan!! I don't do an authorized by on the gc since it is only me. I have a gc log that I am using to keep track of everything I am giving out. Last week, I gave a GC out to a loyal client to give out as a friend & made a shorter exp date on it of 3 months (1/31/10) that way I can ensure that I am getting someone in the door in January. Awesome ideas CSP!!! Totally great ideas.... If you don't mind, I am going to follow your advice with that numbering system. I also never thought about initialing the GC. Great idea. Thanks! BTW - If you do care about me following your heed on the #'ing system, please let me know! :-)
