Get a decent thai curry paste; fry some baby corn, sugar snap peas and tofu in it for about 5 minutes on a medium heat, then bung a tin of coconut milk on it and simmer for about 15-20 mins stirring occasionally. Cook some noodles and stir them in for the last 5 mins. Gorgeous, and about a gazzilion calories a serving

Cook some pasta. Chop and fry an onion while you're grilling a coiuple of sausages or some sausage mix. Then add 4 chopped tomatoes (or a tin of them) and a tin of baked beans to the onion. When the sausages are done, chop them up and chuck them in too. Heat through serve over the pasta. Easy! I've recently discovered the Brendan Brazier recovery pudding: a ...

I wish I could get bored with food, especially chocolate... Maybe a new cook book or googling new recipies will inspire? Yes I have it. I made one of his buckwheat pancakes which was interesting...haven't made anything else yet. Must dig it out again and have a look. Any recommendations?

not made anything from it yet. Will be trying the energy bites and maybe energy gels at the weekend.

I tend to get ideas rather than follow the recipies. The pizza ideas work quite well, as do recovery pudding type stuff. I don't get on with smoothies but the rest of the book I get on well with, and like the idea of eating nutrient dense food rather than calorie dense - and if you aren't eating enough calories, just eat more. But sorry to hijack your thread KennyT.
