Thread: Getting Old Files After Using Factory Recovery Hp Compaq Vista

Thnx for info. First of all, I tried recuva as well as several other free sevices, none of which found anything from the old hdd. As for multiple deletions, I can`t seem to recover the info now, so how do i multiply delete something I can`t get? Would running another factory recover make it even harder to obtain my info?

Hello god162534, Welcome to Vista Forums. If the info was not overwritten by the recovery, then free software may be able to recover it. You could try 'Recuva' and see what it finds. Link here: Free Software List for Vista Even if it has been overwritten, it may be recoverable. Hope this helps. Gary
