yes it wouldnt be my first choice either. he was at one point leaning towards black with glitter, but he leant back. which i was secretly pleased about cos i was planning on something like that for a future one of my designs. but i must say i am looking forward to finishing it. it shall be an adventure in sparkles

lol, hooglebug tbh, AND I MEAN THIS IN A NICE WAY, it's such a waste of your talent to be making MoC's. Leave them to noob guitar makers like me!! edit: in other good news, a friend of mine asked me today to make him a guitar. even though my 1st one STILL isn't finished, although the body has been shipped. Awesome.

hooglebug replied 1 year, 3 months ago
if i could afford not to make them i wouldnt. i dont want to. but no one wants one of my designs so i have no choice

trad3mark replied 1 year, 3 months ago
fair enough i suppose. still, i'm sure you'll do an awesome job of it. from the pics above, it looks like it's turning out great so far. did you finish that black burst one with the trisonics btw?

hooglebug replied 1 year, 3 months ago
no iv been busy with this one and not had the money to buy the last few little bits i need. its all wired apart from the pickups and the output jack. need to get some strings to do the nut and check the frets and everything too. should be really getting on with the moc now just got the last stuff i needed for the neck so i can be getting that done between all the various coats the...

hmmmmmmmmm I guess black satin then. Something like the concrete might look better though, maybe a grey satin or something.

The midi strip is just connected to a microcontroller which outputs midi data, similar principle to the XY pads.

These images were taken a few weeks ago by the guy making my guitar. I decided to go with a traditional tele shape rather than a mattocaster. The body will be black. The headstock is Neil's custom design. Thought it was quite nice! Obviously a midi touch screen going in the square. Should be finished in the next 2 weeks, and I will be adding the hardware - cosmo black knobs / bridge / tuners, and chrome mbk2 pickups. will post more when...
