I recommend the Logitech G5. I've got a few in "stock" at home from back when they were $35 a piece on sale. I think it's the greatest gaming mouse ever made (it was based on the MX-510 and 518) and nowadays, Logitech made the G500 which is based on the G5. I personally really dislike Razer mice because I find they're not comfortable. It seems that company assumes that you must have tiny ...

MX518 is great.. lasted soo long and still use it to this day occasionally.. but now ive moved on to the G9

My vote is for MX 518. I have 2 MX 518's and one G5 (using the G5 right now on this computer ). Both are great mice, BUT I have to give the edge to MX 518. Keep in mind that I am a very heavy FPS gamer (fast FPS - quake, UT, etc.). The tracking on both is excellent. My sensitivity is set to uber high, so obviously I would know otherwise. My G500 just came in today I purchased it from the NCIX sale, so far I'm pretty happy with it. It feels great in my hand (I have pretty small hands) This is my first 'gaming' mouse and I'm upgrading from a VX Revolution, so it's quite a bit of a difference.
