this **** sucks man, this happened at a processing center, so either the victims were soldiers who just got back from Iraq or Afghanistan, or about to leave for Iraq or Afghanistan. Can you imagine having to deal with all that bull**** in Iraq and then getting shot in Texas on base??

I have friend, former tigerbandman, who is stationed there while home. I hate to say this, because I know some are or will be mourning soon, but I don't think I've ever been happier to know that his tour is not supposed to end for another month.

I am sending prayers from Mississippi for the soldiers who were killed and injured, I am also sending prayers for their families. This is so very sad.

Shooter was an Indian shrink. As I am told, this was a well planned event designed for high casualties versus a random event. I am understood those killed were processing for deployment. I still have a handful of friends there however, most are currently deployed at this time. This is phucked in every way imaginable. Prayers are gonna be long and distinguished. Very sad chain of events.

WWL says there are only 14 Louisiana residents at Hood now, and all are accounted for. They are an advance team getting things ready for a larger unit that either returns from Iraq or is preparing to ship out next month.
