Well - tonight heralds the return of Fringe.
Definitely an interesting start - specifically with Olivia and the windshield. Didn't see that come!
I'll be quite interested to see how she got from Leonard Nimoy and the twins towers to where she is currently!
That windshield scene was totally awesome.
The mirror typewriter thing was so cleverly cool.
Can't shake the feeling the new chick will be sacrificed for some shocking death scene.

I agree - that is definitely a likely possibility.
I am super sad that the real Charlie is dead - I liked his character. Can't imagine that, that'll be a season long arc.
Interesting romantic relationship built b/w Phillip and the Massive Dynamics lady. My wife totally saw it coming - I just thought they were in cuhoots - not necessarily an item. Interesting.
Wish we'd seen more of the...
I'm guessing Charlie died way before that scene. The one who visited Olivia in the hospital and told the story about him getting shot- that was the impostor. He wanted to gain her trust, and did so.
I loved the nods to X-Files. There were two of them: one on TV showing the X-Files movie, and the other when the senator was telling Phillip they were shutting down the Fringe division, ...

Last season American Idol was on right before Fringe and they threw in something awesome for Fringe fans: They showed the Observer in the audience! And they NEVER mentioned anything about it so a lot of people probably thought it was just some audience member haha
Is this really good?
I watched the pilot for season 1 the other day and it was kinda meh for me. Does it get better, or even great?
Is it worth to purchase the first season?
I watched the Season 1 finale(for Nimoy) then the first 2 eps of this season and what bothers me is Dunham's amnesia. Why has no one mentioned to her why she went to the other universe? I was under the impression that everyone knew why she went.

That's what I thought initally as I thought the briefcase would go to the doppleganger Agent Francis, but was suprised that The Observer was directly involved (unless he's contracting out his observing! ...they were surveillance photos after all)

I think it's interesting that they've downplayed her role, sidelining her in a lot of ways, and made Peter far more active and important.

But even still... that's a dramatic shift in orders. First it's...
