Thread: French Door Refrigerator

I posted this on the appliances forum but received little response. (and to be quite honest, people are a little hostile on that thread if you read a few posts, lol). Was wondering what french door fridge everyone likes that is in the mid 2k's. I have done a search but just curious what opinions people have on fairly newer models (LG, SAMSUNG, KENMORE, GE, etc.) Thanks for your help!

Hi gillylilly: I determined from the appliance forum that the Samsung 23 cubic foot French Door Counter Depth is a good one. Gets great reviews and has won some JD Power awards the past 4 years, although I really dont know if that means anything! RFG237AA is the model number. Good luck!

We got the Samsung RFG299AARS -- it was a little above your mid-2K price, closer to 3K, but I thought I'd share our experience. We're very happy with it -- the ice drop is noisy, but I have the impression many are. It's easy to find things, the freezer is big, I love the wide drawer in the bottom of the fridge section.
