Tried to go last year but the line was wrapped almost all the way around the building. Nice gesture though for sure.

Did you know that Lowe's and Advanced Auto Parts does that year round. 10% off to all active duty and retired military. I'm sure there are more but that is 2 that I know of and use often.

Unfortunately, there are a large number of vets who don't fall into those catagories. Those who did not go all the way to retirement qualify for neither. It would be nice if the VA could cut a "Veterans Card". Then you could possibly get in on those things. Me, I'm a DAV, yet theres no ID to show. I always found that strange. I'm authorized the VA medical facilities, but I have no ID...

Yeah that's true. You have a good idea there. Would be nice to have a VA ID that shows you served.

See if this helps the ID issue: http://www.co.hunterdon.nj.us/pdf/co...eranidcard. pdf FMB, ya gotta go for breakfast. All the 'blue hairs' dont go to dinner until 4pm.
