Whether it's a high-end sports car like the Audi R8 V10, a classic American muscle car such as the Dodge Challenger, a highly tunable Asian import such as the Nissan 370Z, a European exotic supercar such as the Ferrari FXX, or a purpose-built race car such as the Peugeot 908, everyone has a dream car. In Forza Motorsport 3, live ...

Great idea for a thread tbh, keeps it separate. Sadly, stuck at work distracted by posts about the demo
copied my post from the other thread:
First race impressions, Menu's are gorgeous, model looks awesome in there, nice upgrade in game graphics not mind blowing though, replays much improved, feels like fm2 with a bit more weight to the cars, sounds pretty nice.
Disable notifications because it becomes a complete slide show when someone signs in.

That's very good to hear, from my experience of Forza 2 so far they definitely could do with a tad bit more weight to them.

What is the the size of the demo? Maybe compressed car models?
It does look ...
Also cockpit view is really nice ( I will race in this view) but you cant look around it and when you look left/right you get a clean view point without window frames and doors etc.
To find a ghost, scroll down/up the leaderboard and you'll seen an icon in the the column with the paperclip icon, this means there is a ghost replay avilable. Highlight the player that has such an icon and click A.

Gotta love marketing... LFS, rFactor and iRacing are all better, quite easily, imo There's also netKar Pro and probably others that I haven't put enough time into but are quite likely to be better as well, It's good, it's not the best sim though. imo of course

Dan Greenwalt says what he does becasue on the 360, he's spot on. Of course he also refers to the PC games, but the PC games are very limited. The market Forza reaches to love tuning parts, paint jobs and great sounds. The PC games in the own right do things better, but are not a complete package like Forza 3 will be. Of course nobody will be truely happy with one game and that's why any sim racer worth their salt has the best of...

Indeed the Fm2 community was one of the games biggest strengths. We still find a few idiots on our forza 2 nights now but I'm normally host and therefore they get booted as soon as we get back into the lobby, sometimes we keep them around for a race to give them a taste their own medicine... eventually you end up with a good room of racers. I'm sure I saw/read that in FM3 we will get the option to vote kick as well which will help...
