Christianity is believing in Jesus Christ and his teachings. Jesus was a "gentle soul". I see nothing in the New Testament saying to "hate" anyone. I see nothing in Christ's teachings that say "it's OK if in self-defense". I see nothing that says it's...

Memaw....you are clearly a very good and kind person.......I went to a Catholic high school and I was taught to take the bible contextually....not literally.....that does not really address what you are trying to say here but......would you have me turn the other cheek and not defend my family from an intruder????.......My family is all I have.....and if someone threatens their life.....I should...

Because if one is liberal they have already given their heart and soul to Satan in return for power and control over others. Christianity and liberalism represent opposite beliefs as one believes in a higher power and the other believes they are the higher power.

NAS Then they came to Jerusalem. And He entered the temple and began to drive out those who were buying and selling in the temple, and overturned the tables of the money changers and the seats of those who were selling doves; and He would not permit anyone to carry merchandise through the temple. And He began to teach and say to them, "Is it not written, 'MY HOUSE SHALL BE CALLED A HOUSE...

Only blasphemy of the Holy Spirit (which is the rejection of Christ) can never be forgiven. It should be obvious, why. And where are you getting THAT? ALL can be forgiven at the "end" if one asks for forgiveness.

They caught the guy and he will receive justice. I'm not interested in whether or not anybody forgives him, but I am concerned that innocent people will suffer at the hands of those who will tar all Muslims with the same brush.

THAT comes from "inside", my friend." MeMaw, Its just like you posted in that you can't force faith upon anyone, but how are they to learn if they are not taught? It can't come from within if one does not...

"Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God" Even an atheistic blasphemer can be saved by hearing the Word of God. Some of the strongest Christians were at one time blasphemers. Saint Peter even blasphemed when he denied even knowing Christ. I'm sure we have all spoken words of blasphemy at some time in our lives. We can blaspheme God the Father and even Jesus Christ and still be forgiven. Only blasphemy of...
