Yes it does. There are some that CAN work with certain car seats, but its not recommended.....certain seats are only made to fit certain bases and vic-versa. For the safest situation, I would make sure the base and the carseat you have are meant to go together. Also, remember, that most infant seats, are equipped to buckle safely with a seatbelt, without any base. So depending on how much you will be using the second base, it may not be worth...

You also may feel what I call stabing pains in the vagina,I have heard them called Lihjting in the vagina and zingers lol. It's normal too and very scary when you don't know what they are. It's your uterus stretching.

There are a lot of babies in an u/s that have those white spots on their heart & they grow out of them & they disappear, I wouldn't worry about that...My cousin also went thru what you are going thru with Downs...They told her all that & she opted not to do the amnio...Her son was born perfectly fine!!! I have my 17 wk appt in 30 minutes & I have made up my mind not to have the testing done or the amnio...It is not going...

I wouldn't count on it either....at 11 weeks boy and girl genitalia still look very much the same. Usually around week 14 is when it is very apparent what is what because in boys the increase of testosterone (around 11-12 weeks). I wouldn't put any stock into it at this point. It depends on doctor to doctor, it could also be that he wants to monitor you closer for now because you're new and so far along. I wouldn't worry to much about it. Rather have your doctor taking extra care of you then not enough. All the best!

There's probably no need to go to the ER, but I'd call the doctor in the morning if I were you, just to see what he/she thinks.
