This year I had the opportunity to return to Caln Little league to the State championship. This year they hosted the U16 Sr Girls Softball Pennsylvania state championship. With 2 teams dropping out it killed the schedule and since they could not have double headers it forced a lot of night games under bad lighting. The folks I spoke with loved what they saw so let’s hope they show me ...

Wow great shots Bryen. It looks like you were able to deal with the lighting issues because the images came out great. 8 is a great shot, the more dust and dirt flying around the better.
How many shots did you wind up taking during the whole tournament?

Those are all great. The color is very vivid. I recently got a 70-200 IS but mine does not look that vivid. Do I need a polarizing filter? All I have is a UV. Thanks

No need for a polarizing filter as it won't really help you for sports. U was usning a UV filter but that was just to protect the glass from all the flying dirt.
The colors where pumped up a bit in lightroom but nothing crazy.

Thanks ... Yea games started at 6pm ...the batter box had really bad back lighting but the feild was nice.

Thanks... i was shooting about 1000+ for the day games and the night games where about 500 or so. I was really shooting hard when i had the light to make sure i had nice soild single player shots. I always like to get these in th bag right away in case...
