I don't use one...the screens are cheap to replace and very durable. I'm still using my 40D, but I've had it over a year, wear glasses that bang on it, have a big nose that squishes on it every time I take a picture and not a scratch on the screen!

I had my 30D for two years and kept it in a regular backpack with the screen rubbing around whenever I moved the bag or walked and it's fine. The 5D screen is nice anti-glare coated glass so you can see through it. Why obstruct your view with a cheap protector? In addition, I have a deep gouge on my 1D Mk II's screen that was on there when I got it, and it actually bothers me a ...

Invisishield is the way to go all i did was ordered the one for the 40D then orderd an extra one for an iphone cut it to fit the small Lcd

I used to get screen protectors for all my cameras until I read that you can call up the Canon parts department and have them ship you a new screen surface for about $13. And it is user-replaceable. Screen protectors add an extra layer to the existing protection and usually counteract the anti-glare coatings already applied to the screen. For the $13 replacement cost, I'll just ...

I've tried Invisishield and feel it blurs the LCD. I would recommend those for cell phones, but not for camera or gaming screens. I can't say enough good things about Martin Fields. Pricey, but well worth the cost: www.overlayplus.com/ I use it for my 30D (comes with both LCD and Top Menu cover), G10, PSP, DS, and cell phones.

The Giottos one with BH is nice but this shape (3inch) doesnt neccessarily mean it will fit on the cam.

When I first went to a digital SLR I almost went with Nikon just because they come with that handy dandy screen protector. I thought back to the two P&S digitals I had owned and how badly their screens got scratched up, so I thought it was a really important feature to have on a dSLR. Now I'm glad I didn't choose my platform based on that simple feature alone. I've had an XTi, ...

i use the giottos screen protector and it basically just saved me from smashing my whole screen!! it took the shock of my camera landing on the corner of my metal guitar hardcase and cracked leaving not a mark on the 5d's screen, while it's in use it hardly affects screen clarity and sharpness,. thoroughly recommended by me, just need to go buy myself a new one now!!...
