Derrick posted the link to an article on PDN about smart phones and photography. As a new iPhone owner I'm curious about what apps fellow members are using with their iPhones? Taking that a step further, how are users integrating the other iPhone features into their workflow? I second PhotoCalc. I use it to calculate hyperfocal distance when I shoot landscapes.

I read a review that says PhotoCalc doesn't work well on iPhone 3G. Before I buy it, any 3G users had good results?

I like PhotoBuddy - Sunrise/Sunset/Moon times, exposure calcs, DoF, Flash, Angle calcs, Distance, Grey Wedge, etc...

I just found ShakeItPhoto and am having fun with it. It processes your photos into polaroids that slowly develop in front of your eyes (speeds up it you shake your phone). It's replaced CameraBag as my favorite photo app. I love the way the photos turn out.

For some good 'ol fun try Best Camera app. It uses the iPhone camera to take photos and allows you to add various filters to it. Great for shots taken at night with lighting in the background.

One can set up a rather complete "studio" on an iPhone for a total of about $20 … or less. CameraBag was my first photo app, and loads of fun … simulating a Holga, classic B&W photography, Polaroids, etc. CameraKit is a film developing simulator with push/pull, soft focus, cross processing … I think one could be happy with these two apps.
