...and voiced by Kye Hebert (at least the angriest one is). The old voices sound great as always, as do the new voices so far. I don't know if I'll feel the same when I hear Kaworu, though. It's so stupid that Greg Ayres wasn't chosen to reprise that role, but instead to voice Kensuke.
Since I'm waiting for 1.11, it was good to see some of what to expect. In fact, other than Tae's ...
I'll take anything over "Those Tokyo-3 Buttheads...."
I know a lot of people are confused on why they switched "father" with dad," since the latter is pretty casual for an abandoned kid.
Sounds great! I've been dying to hear the English version !
Can't wait to get it on DVD!
I'm also going to be one of those people who winds up buying it on Blue-Ray as well. >_>
There are more clips on Funi's website:

EDIT: Oh lol, Justin Cook is Toji. Cue mental image of Yusuke Urameshi taking out Shinji.
Being that I have never seen Eva, I went into that clip cold.
The best part was John 'Gendo' Swasey. I'm not sure I really like Shinji, or the female character who picked him up (probably because this is my first time hearing a work of theirs), but it was nice to see Clinkenbeard in there.
And the hilarity of the generals cursing.
I almost forgot I own this movie on DVD. (bought the hong kong region 3 edition many months ago) Doubt i will buy the Funimation DVD. Double-dipping is not something i would do on a regular basis.
Shinji was quite competent for a 14 year old that was abandoned. You know, until his best friend nearly killed by his own hands, Asuka in a coma, Rei dead, then respawned with no memories, and killed the only person that gave him affection.... But totally glossed over with gay jokes, sure.

Rebuild isn't in the same universe as NGE... In EoE Shinji never made the world the way he wanted it... He just rejected instrumentality. Think of the alternate universe sequence from episode twenty six of the TV series... "Another possible reality" RoE is/could be (I mean leaning toward IS ) another one of those possible realities. ...just sayin'...
Quote: And those people are the ones I especially dislike. Dude, it's a cartoon that was made in a wacky production era. People make it too much or argue the too-muchness that it's laughable. A thesis? Really? Unlike other cartoons, Evangelion takes itself seriously. Therefore it gets treated as such.
